Andreas Moskin presents their SS’25 collection titled Borderlands. The release is inspired by bohemian aesthetics and Ukrainian poetic cinema of the 1960s-70s, particularly the film The White Bird Marked with Black by Ivan Mykolaichuk and Yuriy Illienko. The collection explores contrasts between tradition and modernity, the familiar and the foreign.
«With this collection, we aimed to convey the idea of blurring boundaries—geographical, cultural, and stylistic,» share Andriy Moskin and Andreas Bilous, the brand’s designers. «It’s about freedom and reinterpreting traditions in a modern context.»
This season, Andreas Moskin introduces relaxed silhouettes in deep shades of brown, turquoise, white, and soft pink. Elongated silhouettes, oversized blazers, loose shirts, and wide trousers create a sense of lightness and movement. The collection expands the brand’s traditional approach to menswear, making it softer and more expressive.
The central material of the release is linen—lightweight, natural, and authentic. Its texture references Ukrainian craft traditions, while its airy structure makes it ideal for warmer seasons.
The collection is based on a play of textures and handmade details. Fringe, raw edges, and macramé elements soften classic masculine silhouettes, adding a touch of casual elegance. A woven vest and decorative pockets offer a modern reinterpretation of folk crafts. At the same time, asymmetrical cuts and layering give the looks a relaxed feel. The final touch of the collection is a hand-knitted horse-shaped pendant, adding playfulness and symbolism to the outfits.
